I am glad you have shown interest in the Fresh Start Class.
As you enter this study, I would encourage you to keep in mind Colossians 3:23-24: “And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord you should receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
The thought of a “commitment to excellence” comes to my mind when I read those verses. As servants of God our attitude toward the Lord’s church and His work should be on a different level of excellence because of who we are serving – the Lord!
I am asking for that level of commitment during this New Members Class. Because of the important doctrine and overall belief being taught in this class, please do your best to be on time and ready to learn!
At the end of the class you will be provided with the Church Member Covenant and Statement of Faith to review and sign. Membership is not required upon completion of the class, but we will have a special service where we invite you to join MHBC if you are not already a member.
